PSI uses different types of assessments and combinations of assessments depending on the role, the level and the reason for the profiling.  PSI recommends combining Personality and Abilities assessments:

  • Personality Assessment will measure behavioural attributes such as dominance, drive, self-confidence, resilience as well as work and interpersonal orientation;
  • Abilities Assessment will measure the ability to deal with complexity and to learn new things;
  • The combination of personality and abilities will give a good measure of individual stress tolerance, as well as learning ability and the capacity to apply intellect.

Behavioural Interview
For a more in depth analysis and profile, a behaviourally based interview is conducted for confirmation. This interview focuses on motivation, self-awareness and behaviour and touches on past career achievements, and key life experiences.
